• Clean polycarbonate lenses daily using a mild soap solution or purpose-made optical lens spray.
• Dry with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth. Never use paper towels, tissues or rough fabrics, these leave micro-scratches that reduce optical clarity over time.
• Sanitise between patients. Wipe frames and nose piece with an alcohol-free clinical grade wipe. Allow to fully air dry before reuse.
• Clean the nose piece separately, the underside can accumulate residue. Use a soft cotton bud with mild soapy water.
• Never use acetone, ammonia, bleach or solvent-based cleaners. These degrade polycarbonate and void the optical clarity warranty.
• Store in the protective case when not in clinical use to prevent scratching and contamination.
