Laboratory

Laboratory safety glasses. For repeated daily use.

For laboratory and pathology staff who need clear eyewear for repeated daily use.

Clear for the bench.

Clear, untinted lenses. EtherLens™ specifies clear lenses for indoor colour. Square or Round for a lighter frame through the day. Shield for the panoramic single-piece lens when the work needs more coverage around the eye. That coverage is the Shield lens, not a side shield.

Research laboratories use the same three frames when a risk assessment says low-impact eyewear is enough.

Fog and cleaning.

Humid rooms use the same coating and off-the-face geometry as anti-fog safety glasses for nurses. Cleaning follows Care & Cleaning. Harsh disinfectants outside those instructions can damage the coating. High-chemical work is outside this range.

Square, Round, or Shield.

Square, Round, and Shield are the frames that can be ordered. The lenses are clear polycarbonate, low impact (S), to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010. At launch, CliniSpecs eyewear is supplied as non-prescription safety eyewear.

Documented. Not simply claimed.

CliniSpecs holds CMI Certificate of Conformity PC10260 (document reference PC10260-I01-R00). The certificate states that CliniSpecs is certified to manufacture products to AS/NZS 1337.1:2010, with the product description 'Safety Eyewear.' The listed models A–F have an impact rating of Low (S), lens tint Clear, and are designated Outdoor Untinted (O).

Square, Round and Shield are available now. Rectangle, Cat Eye and Aviator are coming soon.

The product range is not designed for surgical, laser, radiological, ballistic, high-chemical-exposure, welding, or similar high-hazard applications. See Standards & Compliance for that schedule and EtherLens™ for this exclusion.
